6.7 Incision Area

Incisions are made at the intragluteal line, lateral buttock, and in the middle of the hip bone (Figs. 6.20 and 6.21). In the case of the anterior thigh, an incision should be made inside the inguinal area and outside of the inguinal area. There may be some cases making an incision at the medial knee. I do not make incisions in the lower thigh in most cases.
